From input to output

How to use it

Generate FAQPage JSON-LD from questions and answers already visible on your page. Enter one Question | Answer pair per line, then copy or download the structured data. The free generator processes your text in your browser without requiring an account.

  1. Use one Question | Answer pair on each line.
  2. Include only answers that are also visibly published on the page.
  3. Add the JSON-LD using your framework and validate the rendered document.

Turn your visible FAQ into structured data

Each non-empty input line becomes a Question with one accepted Answer in a Schema.org FAQPage object. The first vertical bar separates the question from the answer, so both sides must contain text. The generator preserves your wording and does not write answers for you.

Publish the same questions and answers in the page content, then add the JSON-LD through your website framework. The output escapes less-than characters so input cannot close a script element. Inspect the rendered page to confirm the markup remains valid JSON and matches the visible FAQ.

What FAQ markup can and cannot do

Structured data describes content for systems that understand Schema.org. It should accurately represent the page rather than adding answers that readers cannot find or claims that the page does not support.

Google no longer displays FAQ rich results. FAQPage remains a Schema.org type, but generating this markup does not guarantee a search feature, ranking improvement or citation in an AI answer. Useful, visible answers remain the reason to publish an FAQ.

Frequently asked questions

How do I format questions for the FAQ schema generator?
Use one pair per line in the form Question | Answer. Both sides must contain text. The first vertical bar is the separator; additional vertical bars remain part of the answer.
Will FAQ schema give my page a Google rich result?
No such result is promised. Google retired FAQ rich results in May 2026. The generated Schema.org markup can still describe your visible FAQ to consumers that support it.
Does this tool generate or verify my answers?
No. It formats the wording you provide as JSON-LD. You remain responsible for factual accuracy, visible publication and checking the final rendered markup. It is not an AI answer generator or a schema validation service.
Is this tool free and do I need an account?
It is free to use without an account. You can copy or download the generated result from this page.
Where is my input processed?
Input is processed in your browser, without uploading, saving or adding it to the page URL.
