A founder visits
The most recent eligible partner click is remembered for 30 days.
They purchase
A current Authority purchase is credited to the referring partner. Historical eligible purchases remain attributable for refunds and disputes.
Affonso validates it
The commission remains on hold for 30 days before it becomes payable.

- Do not refer yourself or accounts you control.
- Do not use cookie stuffing, forced clicks or misleading redirects.
- Do not bid on IndieTools trademarks or impersonate the brand in ads.
- Do not use spam, unsolicited messages or deceptive claims.
Provider-managed, with a clear audit trail
Affonso records attribution, approval and payout status. Refunded or disputed purchases are reversed. Final eligibility is subject to the programme terms shown during application.
Programme questions
- Which purchases earn a commission?
- Approved partners earn a 40% one-time commission on eligible Authority purchases. Free listings, support payments and unlisted offers do not qualify.
- How long does attribution last?
- The last eligible referral click can be remembered for 30 days when the visitor allows affiliate attribution. Blocking or declining attribution can prevent a purchase from being credited.
- When does a commission become payable?
- Commissions have a 30-day validation hold. The payout schedule, minimum threshold and supported methods are shown in the partner portal; completing the hold alone does not send a payment.
- What happens after a refund or dispute?
- A refunded or disputed purchase can reverse its commission. The current status appears in your affiliate workspace and partner portal.
- Can I refer my own products or accounts?
- Self-referrals and accounts you control are not eligible. Partners must disclose their affiliate relationship and avoid spam, cookie stuffing and trademark advertising.
- Where can I manage my account?
- Use Affiliate workspace inside IndieTools to apply, copy your referral link and view commissions and payouts. Complete payout details, tax documents and programme onboarding in the linked Affonso partner portal.
