Submission reserves your Free entitlement; publication permanently consumes it, even if the product is later deleted.

Standard and Authority include a permanent DoFollow website link without requiring a website badge. Authority also includes a verified product badge.

There is no recurring fee. Authority customization, verified product badge, blog link and Featured benefits are separate. Payment does not guarantee approval.

Can I upgrade a Free listing to a paid plan?

Yes. Choose Standard or Authority from the same product workspace. The product record, URL, images and saved details remain together. Successful payment starts automated validation where required. A failed or cancelled payment grants no upgrade, and existing publication status is preserved. New paid submissions remain private drafts until payment and validation succeed.

Is Authority for one product or the whole account?

Authority is $39 once for one product and does not renew. You can manage several products in one account and choose Authority separately for each. Existing Pro purchases keep their original benefits and can add Authority with a separate $39 purchase.

No. Authority includes two contextual DoFollow links, placed in two different relevant blog articles by our editorial team. You do not need to write an article or submit a brief. Follow the two placements in your dashboard.

One relevant contextual link in each of two different blog articles points to your product website. Our editorial team checks the article, surrounding context and destination before marking each placement delivered. These links are separate from the permanent website link on your product page.

When do the 30 Featured days begin?

Featured starts after the product is approved and a slot is available. If all twelve native Featured slots are occupied, your product joins the queue. Six slots appear in the homepage Featured section and six in the discovery sidebar, with a different product in each placement. The full 30-day period begins when your placement starts. The permanent product benefits and blog links remain after Featured ends.

Where does Authority Featured appear?

Each product appears once per page, so the two areas show different products. On smaller screens the sidebar appears below the content. Placements link to your IndieTools product page and use the same included 30-day Featured period. There is no separate Featured purchase.

Does paying change organic ranking or guarantee search visibility?

Paid packages provide the listed controls, content and labelled placements. Organic ranking on IndieTools is earned. Search engines and external AI systems decide what they index, show and recommend; a package does not guarantee those outcomes.
