How to read this leaderboard

How is the Top 100 selected?

Active directories with a recorded Ahrefs Domain Rating, a source and a check from the last 180 days are eligible. Results are ordered by rating, highest first, then name and stable identifier for ties. Up to 100 eligible directories are shown.

Does a high DR guarantee traffic or rankings?

No. Domain Rating is an Ahrefs backlink metric, not a Google score. Consider audience fit, moderation, listing quality and submission terms before spending time or money.

Why might fewer than 100 directories appear?

Unmeasured, stale and differently sourced ratings are excluded. We show the verified coverage we have rather than filling empty places with estimates.

Do advertisers get a higher position?

No. Advertising and Featured placements do not affect this ranking. Link attributes and submission pricing are catalogue information and should be checked with the directory before submission.
