Getting in touch
How to reach IndieTools, and which things are faster handled somewhere else on the site.
Write here
Lands in the same inbox as the address below. Replies go to the email you give.
Or use your own mail client
It reaches Cengiz YILMAZ, who runs IndieTools. One person, so replies are not instant, but they are from somebody who can actually change the thing you are writing about.
Where each thing goes fastest
- Something on the site is broken
- The feedback control in the corner of any page. It arrives with the route you were on and what you were looking at, which is most of what a bug report needs and all of what an email usually leaves out.
- A product, profile or message needs reporting
- The report control on the thing itself. Reports reach the moderation queue with the item attached; an email about one has to be found again by hand.
- A feature you want
- The same feedback control. Feature requests land in the review queue, and the ones that get scheduled get built.
- Listing a product
- Submit it. Listing is free. Email only if a submission is stuck.
- A correction or a takedown
- Email, with a link to the page. This one is worth a person reading it.
- Sponsorship or featured placement
- Email, or read what is on offer on pricing and the newsletter page first.
- Your data: a copy, or its deletion
- Email, from the address on the account. What is held and why is set out in the privacy policy.
