How IndieTools Speed ranking works
Each eligible product receives two controlled Google PageSpeed mobile lab runs. The complete pair is averaged; failed or partial runs never receive a placeholder score.
Performance Score ranks first. Ties are resolved by load time, LCP, CLS, TTFB and a stable identity key, in that order. Paid plans and Featured placements never affect rank.
Rankings refresh each ISO week from Monday 00:00 UTC. Finalized weekly results and awards remain permanently attached to their original evidence.

IndieTools Speed FAQ
- How are website speed rankings calculated?
- The latest eligible pair of controlled Google PageSpeed mobile lab runs is averaged. Performance Score ranks first; load time, LCP, CLS, TTFB and a stable identity key resolve ties.
- Are these PageSpeed results real-user measurements?
- These are mobile lab measurements of listed product websites, not real-user field data or a ranking of every website. Scores describe the tested page at its recorded measurement time.
- How often are website speed results updated?
- Ranking measurements run in a controlled weekly window. Extra monitoring results may appear on a product page, but they do not enter the weekly ranking unless the published measurement policy marks them eligible.
- Does a paid plan change website speed rankings?
- No. Authority, Featured and every other paid feature have zero influence on Speed scores, ranks or awards.
- Which dates does a weekly speed ranking cover?
- An ISO week runs from Monday 00:00 UTC until the next Monday 00:00 UTC. The active ranking changes each week; measurements, awards and finalized results remain available.
- Can I compare previous website speed results?
- The weekly archive links to finalized rankings with their date range and measurement methodology. Product pages also show measurement history. Compare the recorded strategy, sample count and methodology before interpreting a change in score.
