About Todowing
Todowing is an unofficial Chrome extension for Todoist. Todoist flattens sub-tasks in Today, Upcoming, Boards, Filters and Labels, so it's hard to tell which task belongs to which parent. Todowing nests them back under their parent, up to four levels deep, right in the list.
You can complete or reopen sub-tasks in place, see due date, priority and labels on each row, pick from seven colour palettes, and scale text from 85% to 200%. The paid unlock adds unlimited sub-task rows, adding, renaming and reordering sub-tasks, focus sessions with time estimates, a notes pad, a font picker with about 50 Google Fonts, and read-only Apple Calendar events on Today.
It runs in Chrome on the Todoist web app with any Todoist plan. Your API token stays in the browser and is sent only to the official Todoist API. Tasks never pass through Todowing's servers, and the extension has no analytics or tracking. The free version covers up to 5 sub-task rows per task. The full version is $19.99 one-time, with no subscription.
