I Made This
I Made This — The most interesting things people are making on the internet, and the stories behind them.
About I Made This
I Made This is a weekly newsletter about the most interesting things people are making on the internet, and the stories behind them. If it's digital and you made it, it counts: apps, websites, tools, games, art, writing and more. Makers submit their project in about 10 minutes: the basics, three short answers about what they made, why they made it and how, the tools they used, and a few pictures. Every submission is read. There are no votes, no leaderboard and no paying to get in, and a pick can't be bought. If a project is picked, the maker gets an email and the project goes into a future edition.
- Who it is for
- Makers, indie hackers, developers, designers, artists, writers, and readers who want to see what people are building
- Problem it solves
- Makers have few places where a good project and the story behind it get read by a person. Many showcases depend on votes, leaderboards or paid placement.
- The solution
- Makers submit a project in about 10 minutes. Every submission is read, and picked projects go into a future weekly edition, with an email to the maker.
- What makes it unique
- No votes, no leaderboard and no paid placement. A pick can't be bought, and every submission is read.
