FormForge — Turn any PDF into a fillable form in your browser, without uploading the file

About FormForge

Build fillable PDF forms free in your browser. Import any PDF, add text fields, checkboxes and signatures, then export Adobe-ready forms. No signup required.
Who it is for
HR and recruiting teams preparing offer letters and onboarding packs, government and public administration staff publishing fillable forms, legal practices prep
Problem it solves
Making a PDF fillable normally means buying desktop software or uploading a confidential document to someone else's server. For HR, legal and public-sector work that upload is often the blocker, so the form gets printed, signed by hand and scanned back instead.
The solution
FormForge does the whole job in the browser tab. Open a PDF, drop the seven AcroForm field types onto the page or let local field detection find them, then export a standard fillable PDF that opens in Adobe Reader, macOS Preview, Chrome and Firefox. Nothing is uploaded and no account is created.
What makes it unique
Most browser-based PDF form tools upload your file to a server. FormForge runs client-side with PDF.js and pdf-lib, and even the neural network that detects fields on a flat PDF runs locally through WebAssembly. It also does CSV mail-merge, 21 AcroForm compliance checks with 16 one-click fixes, and optional certificate signing where the private key stays on the device.

What do DR4, DR3 and the model difference mean?
DR4:
Ahrefs' newer model. It gives more weight to links from sites with organic search traffic and rates a subdomain on its own links.
DR3:
The previous model, shown in the Ahrefs app until 1 December 2026.
Model difference:
DR4 minus DR3 for the same domain. The models calculate differently, so this is not growth or a drop; the “since” lines compare each model with itself.
