Safe Privacy Mask is a free Chrome extension that finds and replaces sensitive information directly inside AI chats, web forms, support pages, and other registered input fields.

Your text is masked locally in your browser before you send it. The extension does not upload your original text or detection results to an external server.

Use it when you are

• Asking ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another AI service for help

• Filling out online forms or contacting customer support

• Pasting email drafts, meeting notes, logs, or code

• Helping a family member avoid sharing unnecessary personal details

• Using a shared computer for school, household, or community activities

• Removing customer names, project names, or internal terms before sending text

Information it can mask

• Email addresses

You can create your own replacement rules—for example:

Safe Privacy Mask can be configured for a family member’s browser with custom rules for names, addresses, phone numbers, school names, and other details they may accidentally include in a message or form.

It does not monitor browsing activity or decide what someone may send. It simply replaces matching information in the input field and leaves the final decision to the person using the browser.
