Orbit — Production-ready Next.js SaaS Boilerplate
About PermitCore
Hi everyone! We built PermitCore after running into the same problem on our own software projects: licensing kept turning into a second product that needed its own infrastructure, security, and ongoing maintenance.
PermitCore handles license keys, device activation limits, expiration and revocation, offline and floating licenses, entitlements, customer and reseller portals, payments, and webhooks. It also includes a REST API and official SDKs for .NET, Node.js, Python, Java, C++, and PHP.
There is a free plan that stays free for indie developers getting started, plus a three-month free trial for paid plans so you can test everything without commitment.
We are still a growing startup and are actively producing more tutorials and social content, so we hope you will excuse the smaller amount of content on our channels for now. If you need anything, reach us through Contact Us on our website.

Built by developers, for developers. 🚀🙂
- Who it is for
- Indie developers, software startups, and teams that sell desktop, server, or SaaS products.
- Problem it solves
- Building licensing in-house creates a second product: key generation, device tracking, offline validation, entitlements, billing, security, and support all require ongoing work.
- The solution
- PermitCore provides the infrastructure, dashboard, API, and SDKs needed to launch and manage licensing without maintaining a separate licensing system.
- What makes it unique
- A permanent free plan supports indie developers, while advanced offline and floating licensing, zero-knowledge encryption, and six official SDKs cover demanding commercial products.
Starting price: €29/month
