DomainRating.app: Free Domain Rating Checker, Tracker and Domain Tools

Every website owner wants to know one thing: is my site getting stronger? Domain Rating (DR), Ahrefs' 0–100 score for the strength of a website's backlinks, is one of the clearest answers. But checking it usually means paying for an expensive SEO subscription, and even then nobody tells you when it changes. DomainRating.app fixes that, for free.

Check any website's DR in seconds

Type any domain into our Domain Rating checker and see its real Ahrefs DR instantly. No account, no credit card, no trial. Use it to size up competitors, decide whether a guest post or directory is worth your time, or verify the "high authority" claim before you buy a domain. Every result comes with a clean share card you can post on X or LinkedIn.

Track your own DR automatically

Add your website and we take it from there. Your Domain Rating is checked automatically several times a day, and you get an email the moment it goes up or down. No more logging in to check, and no more noticing a drop months too late. Your full DR history lives on your own public page with a chart, so you can see exactly which weeks your link building paid off. Tracking is free for up to five websites.

Never lose your domain

We read your domain's expiry date straight from the official registry and email you 30 days and 7 days before it expires. It's a simple second reminder that protects your website, your email and the backlinks you worked hard to earn.

More free tools for every domain

• Domain age checker: see when any domain was registered, from the registry itself.

• Domain expiry checker: see when a domain expires, who the registrar is, and whether it's locked against transfers.

• Website speed test: get mobile and desktop performance scores with Core Web Vitals in one simple report.

All of them are free and need no sign-up.

Get 2 dofollow backlinks for free

Add our small live DR badge to your website's footer and your site joins the DomainRating.app directory, where websites are ranked by Domain Rating and grouped by category and topic. You get a dofollow backlink from your own page and another from the directory, and your page is indexed by Google and included in our sitemap. It's an easy first win for new websites trying to grow from DR 0.
