### Is Free a permanent listing?
Yes. Free includes a permanent product page and public founder profile, automatic SEO and GEO metadata, IndieTools AI / LLM discovery, MCP and CLI discovery, and dashboard analytics. It has no recurring fee.

### How does the free DoFollow link work?
Free listings can be published after editorial review with a NoFollow website link. To enable DoFollow, add a white or black IndieTools badge to your website with a followed link, then use Check badge in your dashboard. Keep the badge on your website to retain the free link benefit. Authority includes a permanent DoFollow link and a verified product badge without requiring a website badge.

### Is Authority for one product or the whole account?
Authority is $30 once for one product and does not renew. You can manage several products in one account and choose Authority separately for each. Existing Pro purchases keep their original benefits and can add Authority with a separate $30 purchase.

### What can I customize with Authority?
Authority unlocks advanced SEO and GEO controls for your product. Start with an AI-assisted draft, edit the details and preview how your product appears in search and social sharing. Your saved content also enriches IndieTools discovery.

### Who writes and approves the Authority article?
Choose Authority when submitting or upgrading your product to open the article form. Write a 2,000-word article or start with an AI draft based on your website, product information and brief. The body word count excludes titles and section headings. You approve the saved version, then an editor must approve the same version. Draft changes need fresh approvals. Published articles are permanent and cannot be edited.

### What are the two additional contextual links?
Two mentions of your exact product name, in separate article paragraphs, automatically link to the website saved in your product listing. Both are DoFollow links, checked before approval and publication. Your product-page website link remains separate. Other external article links are nofollow.

### When do the 30 Featured days begin?
Featured starts after the product is approved and a place is available. If all six native Featured places are occupied, your product joins the queue. The full 30-day period begins when your placement starts. The permanent product benefits and article remain after Featured ends.

### How much does Boost cost?
One Energy costs one US cent. Choose any whole amount from 500 Energy ($5.00). The same minimum applies to a first purchase, a later purchase and re-entry after Energy expires. Each purchase is a separate lot that remains active for 30 days; a new purchase does not extend older lots.

### Does Boost change organic ranking?
No. Boost is a separate, labelled sponsored board ranked by active Energy. It does not alter organic product, category, search, Top 100 or Domain Rating order.

### How is Advertise different from Authority Featured?
Authority Featured highlights your product inside IndieTools and sends visitors to its product page. Advertise is a separate $29 campaign in the right-hand advertising area on discovery pages, with your own creative, headline, description, CTA and external campaign URL. On smaller screens the area appears below the content. One self-service ad is shown at a time in a rotation of up to six campaigns.

### Can I choose when my advertisement runs?
Yes. Select a future start date with at least two days for editorial review. The campaign runs for 14 days from 00:00 UTC on the selected date. Dates are reserved when checkout starts and confirmed after payment and review. If payment or review misses that start date, choose new dates to receive the full two weeks.

### What analytics are included?
Product discovery analytics are included with Free. Authority also reports daily unique article reads and Featured campaign performance. Advertise reports impressions, daily unique viewers, clicks and CTR. Advertising impressions require at least half the ad to be visible for one second; CTR is clicks divided by impressions.

### Does paying change organic ranking or guarantee search visibility?
Paid packages provide the listed controls, content and labelled placements. Organic ranking on IndieTools is earned. Search engines and external AI systems decide what they index, show and recommend; a package does not guarantee those outcomes.
